Privacy policy
How RapidHeat Canada handles your personal information, in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Contact and delivery details you enter at checkout: name, email, phone, shipping address.
- Order details: what you bought, when, and the amount paid.
- Basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited.
We never see or store your full card number. Card details are entered on Stripe's secure payment page and handled entirely by Stripe.
Why we collect it
- To process and deliver your order and handle returns.
- To send order confirmations, tracking and support replies.
- To meet our tax and record-keeping obligations.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
Who we share it with
Only the parties needed to fulfil your order: our payment processor (Stripe), our shipping carriers, and our hosting and email providers. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
How long we keep it
Order records are retained for seven years to meet Canadian tax requirements. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep the site and checkout working, and basic analytics to count visits. You can block cookies in your browser; checkout may not work correctly if you do.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it. Email support@rapidheatca.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS, payments are processed by a PCI-DSS compliant provider, and access to order data is restricted to staff who need it.
