"It didn't heat my open-plan space"
Accurate — and expected. One 1,500 W plug-in unit is sized for a single insulated room of up to about 12 m². Open-plan floors, uninsulated garages and unfinished basements need more than any single 120 V heater can deliver, whatever the brand. "I didn't know it needs a wall outlet"
Fair — and important. A heater drawing 12.5 amps for hours must plug directly into a wall outlet, never an extension cord or power bar. The quick-start guide in the box says so, and our setup page explains why. It is worth planning the heater's spot before it arrives.
